Parents, teaching your child about setting and accomplishing goals will pay off now and through your child's life. This short book will teach you how to help your child dream big, plan for the future and then follow a structured (and fun!) goal setting process that will help make your child’s dreams reality.

Over the course of a year you will work with your child through easy to follow activities, guide him or her along the goal setting process and reflect on actions and attitudes using the Nine Winning Practices.

Why Goal Setting Done Right?

Please take a moment to consider this scenario: It’s New Years. We’ve given much thought to what we want to tackle in our personal or professional lives in the upcoming year and have come up with a splendid list of New Years Resolutions (aka goals). For many of us the excitement and focus resulting from this exercise is lost after only a few days. Why? Because it is not uncommon to write up that wonderful list and then never take the all-important steps of coming up with a plan to stick to those resolutions and then demonstrate the discipline required to execute on the plan. Well if we adults struggle, how can we expect children to practice successful goal setting behavior?

That’s where Goal Setting Done Right comes in.
